Olivia Rae, host of Local 10’s SoFlo H2O, joins Hidden Florida & Beyond for a fun, candid conversation about her journey from being an introverted high school student to becoming one of South Florida’s most recognizable lifestyle TV personalities.

Olivia shares how a high school journalism class pushed her out of her comfort zone, eventually leading her into television, small-market reporting in Texas, and ultimately back home to host a show dedicated to exploring the best experiences on the water. 

The conversation also dives into the less glamorous side of local news. Olivia reflects on her time covering difficult stories, including tragic accidents and heartbreaking interviews with grieving families, and explains why she ultimately realized her passion was telling uplifting stories rather than reporting hard news.
